The problem is that I can't the speed much higher than 500kB/s when transferring on the internal network but when I download files from Internet I can get as high as 1MB/s. The 2 boxes are connected as follows: ____________ _____________ | | | | | | | | | win98SE |-----|xl0 rl0|---- Internet | | | | |___________| |____________| The rl0 is then connected to a 10Mbit Half Duplex network The 2 NICS for the internal net are connected with a crossover cable and they autonegotiate to 100Mbit Half Duplex. Can someone please tell me what's wrong, I've switched NIC but that doesn't seem to work. ---------------------------------- E-Mail: Joel Bjork Date: 14-Sep-00 Time: 17:38:39 ---------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
