I am running FreeBSD 3.2-R from the CDs with no external network connection. I am having a problem where sendmail is not passing local mail. I get the following error; UAA00283: ruleset=check_mail, arg1= relay=root@localhost, reject=451 ... Sender domain must resolve my /etc/hosts file says 127.0.0.1 localhost dee-dee.foo.org 10.0.0.2 dee-dee.foo.org What am I missing? Do I need to monkey with /etc/sendmail.cf? I looked at the ruleset... ummm... It's a ruleset :) I assume it should do the job... Thank you all in advance! I'm sure I just messed up something simple.
