Have a look at OpenPorts (). They want a ports system usable on all of
the four BSD systems.

Depends. Darwin has FreeBSD 3.2 userland binaries, but most
configuration files are inherited from NeXT. This will complicate
integration of standard BSD code into Apples configuration scheme.
