Um I am using two of the EtherEz's in a routing configuration so I think they
do work fine. (they were free and the router is temoporary :)

ed0 at 0x260-0x27f irq 10 maddr 0xce000 msize 8192 on isa
ed0: address 00:00:c0:41:f5:b2, type SMC8416T (16 bit)
ed1 at 0x240-0x25f irq 11 maddr 0xd8000 msize 8192 on isa
ed1: address 00:00:c0:68:f5:b2, type SMC8416T (16 bit)

config is:

device ed0 at isa? port 0x260 net irq 10 iomem 0xce000 vector edintr
device ed1 at isa? port 0x240 net irq 11 iomem 0xd8000 vector edintr

Using EzSetup from SMC set the IRQ and base address and turn OFF Plug+Play.
