I am going to install FreeBSD 4.2 on = one of my=20 machines today.  I have installed FreeBSD several times on = different=20 machines but I have a few questions.
 
I am going to need to run XFree86 4 = (which I will=20 install from the ports collection) and KDE 2 (which I am not = planning on=20 installing from the ports collection) on this machine, when = installing=20 FreeBSD do I need to select an X user install?
 
If I don't select the X user install = and I install=20 XFree86 4 and KDE 2 will everything run properly?
 
My primary concern is not having files = from 3.3.6=20 hanging around that I do not need.
