-- [ From: Stefan Veith * EMC.Ver #2.5.02 ] -- My problem: whenever I try to compile my kernel including the bisdn options I get this error message: "teles.o: undefined symbol ...". Wolfgang Helbig advised me: try patching two of the files needed for bisdn (0.97 using a Teles.ISDN-16.3 under FreeBSD-2.2.1). And when I tried patching "/usr/src/sys/conf/files" I get a message like this: "Hmm ... Looks like a new-style context diff to me ... The text leading up to this was: -------------------- | *** files.orig /*date*/ | --- files /*date*/ -------------------- Patching file files using Plan A ... Hunk #1 failed at 16. 1 out of 1 hunks failed --- saving /*...*/ done." As I am not familiar to UNIX (yet) I do not know what I can do in this case. Please tell me in which way I could modify the defect (?) files. You can rewrite me in DEUTSCH, ENGLISH oder/or/ou FRANCAIS, Stefan.
