No, no combination of Shift-Fn or <Meta-key>-Fn did anything. The keyboard was active as the Caps-Lock and Num-Lock lights worked. The monitor power save features are disabled. I wonder if the Linux Catalyst Control Center app. from ATI would work under VirtualBox-OSE? Thank You, Michael
