I'd deplore one really annoying bug: http://freedesktop.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=474 which prevents me to use MPlayer with XVideo extension when a lot of apps are running; falling back to -vo x11 is not good on slow hardware. So for the moment, if XFree86 4.X works for you, you may want to wait for next Xorg release. Marc
