On some AWT based programs, I usually get SIGABRT. There seems to be some problem with XIM handling in libXt and/or libXm, as I reported with http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=594060+0+archive/2003/freebsd-java/20030209.freebsd-java I'm no expert at X Window programing, so debugging is very painful for me. To workaround this problem, I set my malloc.conf to 'aj' and/or unsetenv XMODIFIERS environment varible.
