What are you using to get the mail?  I've used fetchmail (4.3.8) and
Netscape (4.something) with the same server; both worked pretty well.  If
you're using fetchmail make sure you haven't hard-wired POP into your
.fetchmailrc -- either specify IMAP or let fetchmail figure it out.
