Hmmm... The CD is presumably primary on the secondary controller (if you
follow!?) - how long have you left it on the "Probing devices" screen? - I
seem to remember having to wait over 1 minute+ on an old 486 I used to
have, just for it to detect the secondary IDE channel etc...
