Subject: FreeBSD 3.3 Install Can't find Drives

Can anyone point me towards some documentation on how to install BSD on a
box that has an onboard SCSI controller using the AIC 7870 chipset? This
is a first time installation for me, so I am still learning how to do this.
As it stands now, the installation cd doesn't have drivers for the AIC 7870
and so it can't find any drives to install the OS to...

It doesn't appear that the later versions of BSD offer direct support for
the AIC 7870 chipset either so getting the latest version won't buy me any
simple solution there, howver, from doing a bit of looking around, it
appears that there is a work around for this. It appears that I will need
to create a series of installation disks instead of the CD installation.
But I still need to determine what SCSI drivers to use, and how to get the
installation to work with them. Has anyone done this before, and if so
could they sketch out how they went about doing this?

Thanks in advanced.
