I'm trying to install netscape47-navigator via ports mechanism.

It tells me I need to install a.out support via installing
compat22. I searched ports for compat22, found nothing, then
went into sysinstall and found in additional distributions.

But even after I installed compat22, netscape still complains
about compat22 missing.

What exactly is compat22 and how can I check if it is indeed
installed?

Thanks!

p.s. On a side note, why would I install netscape for linux
insteqad of the native one?
