Hi, I am trying to install freebsd on my third hard drive which is a secondary slave. The secondary master is my cdrom. It is a 1.6 gig hard drive and I made a 80 meg partition at the end of the drive for swap and the rest of the disk is root. I get through install fine and it boots the kernal after install, but will not mount the root filesystem. It says "changing root device to wd2a cannot mount root. In fdisk the root partition is wd3s1a. Can anyone help? Thanks Alot To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
