However, I don't have any printers on my network and could even claim that I'd never owned one except for the fact that I recently got an HP Laserjet from a friend and stuck it in my closet. :-) This makes me quite unqualified to do printer setup, much less write an automated tool for it. If you'd like to do something like this, in the spirit of the Samba or or anon-ftp setup screens in sysinstall, I'd be happy to incorporate it into the Configuration menu! Jordan
