I know the current release of FreeBSD enables soft updates on all file systems except the root partition during the installation process. Are there any issues with Soft Updates in the 3.5-Stable branch that would stop me from enabling soft updates on the file systems of a machine that is running 3.5? I plan on upgrading the machine to 4.5 very soon, but for the time being, I would like to be able to get more performance out of the system. -Steve To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
