Well, that's obviously wrong.  I can't understand how you managed to
get that to work, but maybe Vinum is missing an error check.=20

Apart from that, you're missing a lot of information.  Take a look at
http://www.vinumvm.org/vinum/how-to-debug.html.  Note also that
FreeBSD 5.x doesn't support swap on Vinum yet.
