I'm upgrading my gateway machine to 3.0 - and I noticed that firewall support was in the installed kernel. I only use firewall stuff to get natd to divert things for me; and I notice a message: IP packet filtering initialized, divert disabled, rule-based forwarding disabled, logging disabled the originator of which I can't quite identify (syslog claims it comes from /kernel; but a quick strings on /kernel indicates it doesn't seem to come from there.) Anyway - if I can get divert back without rebuilding a kernel, it would be *way cool*. Or - will I need to build a kernel to get totally back "on line." - Thanks - - Dave Rivers - To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
