The motherboard is a 486-pvt ? it supports an optional ps/2 mouse . I am currently using a serial mouse. At startup Freebsd 2.2.5 recongizes a ps/2 mouse and I can't get the serial mouse to work. I had the same problem with bsdi 2.1 but was unable to resolve it.
