I don't believe that time heals *all* things. If there's a problem, the lack of a fixer doesn't mean it's not a problem any more. That makes two problems, not 0. Even if problems aren't fixed, it makes sense to document them ("Doctor, it hurts when I do <mumble>". "Don't do that, then"). I don't think that closing unfixed PRs serves any useful and honest purpose.
