Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I would like to use the kde window manager, as one of my colleagues uses it and it looks nicer than the fvwm2 I am using now. (I am on 2.2.6) But I can't for the life of me figure out why it won't work. I've selected it from packages and done the extraction. Doesn't that make it available? I tried going into the /usr/ports/x11/kde directory and doing make install but that returns the error: mkdir: /usr/ports/distfiles: File exists *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. *** Error code 1 Stop. --------------------------------------- Mark Jaffe | Build Meister Ricoh Silicon Valley | (408) 863-8066 E-Mail: Mark Jaffe Date: 14-May-98 Time: 18:36:14 This message was sent by XFMail --------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
