Hi,

I am having trouble getting my ps/2 mouse to work under 2.2.6. On
boot-up the system fails to detect my mouse, the errors I get when
booting with the -v option are given below.

On boot-up from GENERIC Kernel (2.2.6)

...
...
psm0: Current command byte :0047

kbdio: DIAGNOSE: 0055

psm0: Keyboard port failed
psm0: The AUX port is not functioning (250)
psm0: Not found at 0x60
...
...

.....syslogd DATE TIME NAME /kernel: kbdio: DIAGNOSE status:0055

DATE TIME NAME /kernel kbdio: DIAGNOSE status: 0055
DATE TIME NAME /kernel kbdio: TEST_KBD_PORT status: 00fa

...

The computer configuration is given below

Motherboard: SE440BX
Processor : PII 350MHz
RAM : 128MB
FreeBSD : 2.2.6 (Also tested under 2.2.5 - same errors)
Mouse : Microsoft Wheel Mouse (Also tested with a standard
              Microsoft Mouse)

I run a duel boot with Win95, the mouse is working perfectly under
that operating system.

Thanks in advance

Matthew.
