I'm trying to set up a local ftp install server. I copied the FreeBSD cdrom #1 into ~ftp/pub/FreeBSD/2.2.8-RELEASE. When I point a client to the server, it times out and says that the password is incorrect. Now, I have verified that no password is required for anyone ftp'ing in as user 'ftp'. Any suggestions?
