Hi ; I have setup FBSD as a firewall to protect our company network to against the security and this FBSD is running on normal PC Pentum III . We have 4Mbps bandwidth connected ISP to access the internet. This link is always fully utilise. Before connect the FBSD to the our company network backbone , my concern are as following ..... (1) Is it adviseable to install FBSD into normal pentium III PC to as a firewall ? (2) What is minimum memory requred to run firewall ? (3) Does FBSD reliable to run firewall and gateway router to mange high congestion traffics of internet access ?
