Check the configuration file for the kernel

the processor you are using is not supported


machine		"i386"
cpu		"I386_CPU"
cpu		"I486_CPU"
cpu		"I586_CPU"
cpu		"I686_CPU"


I586_CPU =  pentium, pentium MMX, K6...
I686_CPU =  PentiumPro, Pentium II...

Check if a line exist for you cpu
pay attention K6 are seen as I586_CPU and not I686_CPU
