Hello! The same and eternal questions about 'How to allow users to mount cdrom?'. I have seen a lot of times this question in the archive of this mailing list with no real answer. Okay, I can use 'sudo' or such things. I have even try to use amd with no success. Before coming to FreeBSD, I used Debian Linux where it was possible with an option in the /etc/fstab to allow users to be able to mount the cdrom. Why it is not possible under FreeBSD? I do not know if it is possible or not in the others BSD... Okay, there are no real need for a server, but I use FreeBSD for both! Thanks to fulfill my curiosity. Anyone can write an FAQ about this point? I would if only I had the answer ;-) Phil. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
