Just a thought...  ftp.freesoftware.com appears to be alive and
kicking, just not answering to FTP (someone posted a suggestion that's
due to bandwidth issues...).  Might be worth having it enable access
to the new ftp-master at least for the "final pass" so you're sure of
what you got.
