Me too!  :-)  But my impression is based on ignorance.

Ignorance.  I thought this was the way to get my printers working.
In fairness the handbook, and Anelise's book both use apsfilter.

I have an Epson SQ850 and a Fujitsu DL3400.   I want to use them for - well - 
printing :-).   Nothing special, except that I wold be printing from X nearly 
all the time. Both printers have worked well from Linux RH6.2 using the 
epsonc filter.
