Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG I use FreeBSD 3.2-RELEASE, and when running most programs from a shell, I get the following message: For example, when trying to run the GiMP: raptor:/usr/home/ben$ gimp & raptor:/usr/home/ben$ Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library This does not happen when JUST using the GiMP, but with other programs as well. Im assuming just ones that use Gdk. Anyone with knowledge of what this means, and or how to fix it, please help me out. And, is this something I really need to fix? I don't really see a degraded peformance in nay of the programs, they run just fine....but it makes me uneasy to see that.
