This seems really obvious but did you indent all the lines after the "default:" statement? Also have you tried leaving the default section alone (perhaps restore to the original) and then create a new heading in between "default:" and "paphchap:" such as something like this... myisp: set device /dev/cuaa2 set speed 115200 etc etc... Then when you go into ppp and do dial just put "dial myisp" Also, I don't believe that you have to have 0.0.0.0 after the netmask. Oct 13 06:30:43 tanja ppp[1122]: tun0: IPCP: myaddr 62.158.151.61 hisaddr = 193.158.144.93 Does myaddr look anything like you get when you login from a windoze box? Also if you run a tracert under win is that the next jump you get after your own? ----- Original Message ----- From: Nils Holland <nils@nightcastleproductions.org> Date: Thursday, October 12, 2000 11:36 pm Subject: Re: PPP connection to German T-Online > On Thu, 12 Oct 2000, J wrote: > > > Is it possible it's just not using papchap and using a plain > unix type login > > where in you have to configure your ppp.conf to look for ogin: > and word: > > ??? > > Well, this is not the problem if I interpret the logfile > correctly.
