Like the subjects says, the port is in: http://www.freebsd.org/ports/ipv6.html But there is NO IPv6 binary: root@demun01:/tmp>ftp ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-4-stable/Latest/fp ing.tgz root@demun01:/tmp>tar -zxvlof fping.tgz +CONTENTS +COMMENT +DESC +MTREE_DIRS man/man8/fping.8.gz sbin/fping root@demun01:/tmp>date Thu Oct 24 22:28:43 CEST 2002 *snickers* Compiling myself now, but just that you know and can update the port to relect it. The current version is on www.fping.com which supports it. Due to the nature of 'ping' fping also comes in seperate IPv6 and IPv4 versions. <SPAM> If you want a good example of what fping can do in v6 world, check https://www.sixxs.net/misc/latency/ They are pinging quite happily :) Greets, Jeroen To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
