John ?? =P Well, I'm not quite sure, I looked at porters-handbook to figure out which way would be right, adding ja- or not. I looked at books/porters-handbook/makefile-naming.html#AEN576 . The port japanese/edict is a japanese/english dictionary and japanese/edict-utf-8 is ONLY the dictionary files in utf-8 format, so I am not quite sure if it should include the prefix ja- or not.
