Assuming you have tried to configure your graphical environment
[by using: "X -configure", "xf86cfg -textmode", "xf86config" etc.]
and you have exhausted all possibilities.

If you know that XFree86 4.3 can handle your card, why don't you
cvs-update your ports and install it?
