Building textproc/libepubgen on powerpc64, for libreoffice, I see the follo=
wing
errors:

checking whether c++ supports C++11 features by default... no
checking whether c++ supports C++11 features with -std=3Dgnu++11... no
checking whether c++ supports C++11 features with -std=3Dgnu++0x... no
checking whether c++ supports C++11 features with -std=3Dc++11... no
checking whether c++ supports C++11 features with +std=3Dc++11... no
checking whether c++ supports C++11 features with -h std=3Dc++11... no
checking whether c++ supports C++11 features with -std=3Dc++0x... no
checking whether c++ supports C++11 features with +std=3Dc++0x... no
checking whether c++ supports C++11 features with -h std=3Dc++0x... no
configure: error: *** A compiler with support for C++11 language features is
required.

compiler:c++11-lang in the USES line should fix this.
