There is no=20 conspiracy: this is just one way that TrueOS contributes back to the=20 FreeBSD community - by helping to build/test branches which are still=20 considered experimental (for whatever reason) and help to find/report bugs=20= so that it can get cleaned up and merged into mainline FreeBSD as soon as=20 possible. So basically, somebody interesting in testing the 4.7/4.8 DRM changes could=20= install TrueOS rather than have to go through all the trouble of changing=20 branches and rebuilding the kernel/world/packages from the ground up in=20 order to try out this new functionality.=20 --=20 ~~ Ken Moore ~~ TrueOS/iXsystems
