Hmm, I use our 3c589 on SRI-MP's *wiped out* network, and get the same sorts of performances that the Sparc-20's get, which about 500-700K/sec. Nothing spectacular, but the network is saturated with NFS traffic most of the time, so collisions are a regular occurance. (I have gotten speeds of 850K/sec on our lightly loaded SRI-MT network though...) Nate
