I've got the following line in my .bash_profile: LSCOLORS=4x5x1x3x2x464701060203 And the following in my .bash_rc: alias ls='ls -G' That gives me nice colored output in my consoles. When I'm using Eterm from my X session, ls doesn't give me any colors whatsoever. How can I make it so? I've tried GnuLS, and that works. When I pipe it to 'less' or 'more', I get mangled output (the color codes are printed out instead of the actual color). Any tips? FreeBSD 4.3 -RELEASE.
