When I send a text file to my HP laser-jet 2100 it prints, but some of the information is not printed at all.  Entire lines are lost.  I have resolved the "staircase" problem I first encountered, by using a filter that replaces a newline with a carrige return and a new line.  The printer is connected via a parallel port so the problem is not that the computer is sending the data too fast for the printer.  Please help if you can .  Thank you.
