Well, I hoped to solve it with the last compilation but I committed the
"hara-kiri" initiative of updating my ports - including ICU and glib.
This means that I need to break a large number of apps to be able
to recompile OO and reinstalling the system from scratch is not an
option at this time on my "production" machine.

Marcin mentioned that he would look into fixing the ICU dependency at
some point. I will proceed from there. I still have a version that handles
the accents by copy-and-paste between docs so I can survive in the
meantime.
