rdist can be run through ssh, which is useful. (i have no clue if rsync can or
can't)
Here's my little wrapper:
bin/sdist:
#!/bin/sh
/usr/local/bin/rdist6 -P /usr/bin/ssh \
-p /usr/local/bin/rdistd \
$@
rdistd is the path to rdistd on the remote box.
