Actually I told him to leave it in CVSROOT/modules for now and put it on his list to remove later. Sometimes people get upset when the module goes away while there are still supported releases are out there that could potentially use it. Personally I'm indifferent to whether it should stay or go except for the fact that some people seem to have great heartburn over it when it suddenly goes away.
