The situation here is Yes and No. Creative will not release the specs for the SB Live range. However, they recently employed full time a linux developer so they could produce linux drivers for their new sound cards (including the Live) and for future video cards. They mentioned FreeBSD support, but it was a low priority. So, in maybe 6-12 months time, we may see some support.
