I have found out (I don't know if anybody else did) that iij-ppp hangs only in specific situation (!): Only when it is in the -direct mode and the other end disconnects the line. iij-ppp will wait until idle timeout expires, and then (unless is killed manualy before) will finish with it's job! By that time, it keeps the line open! I have tried this with two machines running FreeBSD. Is there any clues (cure) how to fix this?
