You might check if anything is still installed that needs them. For example, you might be using a CD player that runs under X without KDE running that needs one of those libraries. Otherwise, yes you can just delete them. I recommend using 'pkg_delete' or 'make deinstall' so that /var/db/pkg is properly updated. Thank you, Jason C.
