Our software happens to be an entire operating system. As such you would
use our OS installed on a computer that would become your webserver. Every
webpage on the net comes from a webserver.

Now about posting "to the internet". Computers such as webservers make up
the internet. If you had such a webserver in an office at your school, you
would have a piece of the internet right in your office. FreeBSD can fill
this role.

You speak of a "scnc" server. Is this a school owned webserver? If so,
then you really don't need FreeBSD. You just need to put the files on the
scnc server. Ask your scnc administrator for details on how to do this.

If the scnc is a webserver then you have the "internet" right there in
your school. Put the webpage on the scnc in the right place and your
webpage is "posted to the internet".

Do you have an scnc administrator? Is there anyone who can tell you what
"services" the scnc server offers?

Your question is a pretty big question if you intend to build your own
webserver. If you want to build a webserver of your own, FreeBSD can help.
Be prepared for a steep learning curve if you can't bring in professional
help.
