Hello, I'm trying to restart a network with oldish machines (SparcStations with SunOS 4.1.x), and a new FreeBSD server, where data will be kept. The FreeBSD machine is already configured as the NFS server, and the NIS/YP server (after patching the SunOS /etc/rc.boot so as to have a "normal" broadcast address ....) what still remains to do is the passwd file for the Sun machines : they don't seem to use the passwd/master.passwd scheme of FreeBSD and their own passwd / passwd.adjunct is not an answer >-(( I've had a look at google, but with no success so far. If anyone has a clue... TfH PS : Il will also try to use NetBSD/sparc instead of SunOS, but this will be done later ....
