This should be changed to read "...with whitespace..."; multiple whitespace characters may be used between fields, if desired. Also, it is not clear that the use of a size and a time together will not fire if just the size criterion is met. So, if you want to trim the maillog at midnight OR if it reaches 5000 KB, you need two entries.
