That is because you are using php56-redis package built against php 5.6.14
You should manually reinstall php56-redis each time when you are updating
php56. This pkg limitation not the port problem and there is nothing can be
done at my level to fix the issue. By the way: the same applies at least to
pecl-memcache port.
