Once upon a Wed, Nov 19 2003, Kirill Ponomarew hit keys in the following order: > Synopsis: amavis-perl is no longer supported (supersedes pr ports/41314) > > State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback > State-Changed-By: krion > State-Changed-When: Wed Nov 19 01:22:01 PST 2003 > State-Changed-Why: > Can you reproduce it with version from security/f-prot ? > > http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=50473 I vote for dropping this outdated version of amavis-perl alltogether, now that we have security/amavis. At sf.net it states in the release notes: This is amavis-0.3.12, the direct successor to amavis-perl-11. The shell script version of amavis (0.2.x series) is discontinued. There are many significant changes and improvements over amavis-perl-11. Please check the ChangeLog for a probably incomplete list. Support for over a dozen new anti-virus scanners was added, and there were important changes in qmail and milter support. Haven't looked into it since april, when i switched to use amavisd-new instead. Do you want me to look into it or do you agree to drop this port? martijn.
