https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=3D227034 Bug ID: 227034 Summary: x11/pcdm: pcdm blocks other rc.d services Product: Ports & Packages Version: Latest Hardware: Any OS: Any Status: New Severity: Affects Only Me Priority: --- Component: Individual Port(s) Assignee: freebsd-ports-bugs@FreeBSD.org Reporter: sascha@root-login.org CC: jt@ixsystems.com Flags: maintainer-feedback?(jt@ixsystems.com) CC: jt@ixsystems.com Created attachment 191906 --> https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/attachment.cgi?id=3D191906&action= =3Dedit Hang workaround The PCDM-session binary does not daemonize when being started with xinit in $PREFIX/sbin/PCMd which in turn is called from the rc.d script. This results in the rc.d script hanging when called and all services after = this rc file not being started. (In my case: cron, ssh and the automounter famil= y). The patch works around that but i think that's not the right fix. The fix should be done in the PCDM scripts themselves. Affected system: $ freebsd-version -ku=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20= =20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20=20= =20 11.1-STABLE 11.1-STABLE --=20 You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.=
